Of course I can't leave it alone at this stage , so I plan to add birds and flowers before I start quilting. I haven't quilted in a number of years and was very meticulous about perfect, tiny stitches (or at least that was my goal). I may loosen up a little with this one and embroider and quilt with floss instead of traditional quilting thread! Radical departure!

This is a very beautiful and elegant quilt. One to live with for a long time.
Gorgeous work and beautiful blog! Welcome to the Fiber Focus Group!
This is looking very beautiful. I always love a "tree of life" design. What size is it?
Right now it is the size of a very large flour sack towel, about 30" by 30", but I still need to decide what I'm going to do with the border.
this will be wonderful. go crazy with it.
Beautiful, I love the colors.
